The “layering” component of my Honors portfolio represents my process of trying out new experiences and adding layers to my existing frameworks. Over the course of the program, I explored different classes, activities, groups, and practices - some of which resonated deeply with me and others that I ultimately enjoyed less. However, each experience contributed something meaningful to my growth. The ones I loved clarified my interests and strengths, while the ones I struggled with pushed me outside my comfort zone and helped me better understand what environments and topics challenge me.
